Meet the Founder

Peter Salmon established the International Food Network in 1987. After many years experience in the food industry, Peter saw the opportunity for a network of specialist consultants working together to provide an efficient way of delivering technical and product development services to food and beverage manufacturers. This soon evolved into a successful company, employing over 50 scientists, technologist and culinologists based across the US and Europe.

In addition to significant working experience in companies such as General Foods, Peter also has a BSc in Food and Human Nutrition, an MSc in Food Science from the University of Massachusetts, and an MBA from Fordham University, NYC.

Peter is also presently a Certified Packaging Professional, sits on the Board of Directors for United Way of Tompkins County, and is a member of the Food Science Advisory Board at the University of Massachusetts.

Through diligent project management and detailed communications, our experienced product development managers ensure your project is delivered on time, with high quality results. Our Management Team is there to coordinate day to day activities so you don't have to.
